I'm a senior copywriter with around 30 years' experience. I started to build a career with Lego in the eighties, and since then I've done a lot of beer. Carlsberg, Beck's, Molson, San Miguel, Staropramen to name but a few. Sensibly, I made sure there was lots of food with the drink. Princes Buitoni, Sun Valley Chicken, Cadbury. In between, I've done loads of other stuff, too. British Telecom, Colgate Palmolive, Heathrow Airport, that sort of thing. Lots of financial ads – for Jupiter, Fidelity, BLME, Equiniti. There's been Mazda, Kia and Saab cars, and more recently Saab Defence & Security, too.

Some of this work people liked enough to award it with a Gold at BTAA, Creative Circle and The One Show, and Silver at Campaign Press. It's even graced a couple of pages in D&AD annuals.
